Internationally recognized in a MegaCities ShortDocs video "The New Face of Hunger" selected as a New York City finalist produced by Ms. Chante D. Graham. View it here. NEBHDCo’s Golden Harvest Food Pantry is located at 376 Throop Avenue, between Lafayette Avenue and Kosciuszko Street. A New York City Emergency Feeding partner agency since 1993, in June of 2014 we opened our beautiful new supermarket-style client choice pantry facility. With a ground level shopping floor, the pantry also has a second floor demonstration kitchen, classroom and three-station benefits center. Within six months of opening the new pantry, we more than doubled the number of families served. We continue to register new families at a rate of 20-30 per pantry shift – serving a still growing need.

With the support of the funders above, as well as additional support from NY City Council, Council Member Robert E. Cornegy and Council Member Alicka Ampry-Samuel, we are increasing our capacity to reach more community residents in need.
